Each morning, Anne and Fabien supplied us with fresh eggs from their own chicken coop, farm-fresh natural yogurt, and delicious farm bread, rolls, croissants, and brioche. Their homemade jam was mouth-watering and satisfied my early morning sweet-tooth cravings. It was a joy eating our breakfast on the patio in the early morning sun. This absolutely started our day with a smile as wide as Normandy itself just before we hit the road on our daily explorations and discoveries. Anne and Fabien were welcoming, hospitable, and extremely helpful as we looked at maps together, and they showed us the best routes to places we wished to see and made some helpful recommendations of their own. We wished we could have stayed longer. The region is full of cider estates – Route des Cidres – and cheese factories where visitors can take tours of the facilities and taste the specialties before they buy.
