Lovely fishing and yacht harbours, the old « Bassin » and picturesque streets, as well as the Place Ste.Catherine should not be missed. Over Honfleur, Notre-Dame de Grâce is an exceptional 17 th. century chapel decorated with « ex-votos » of fishermen saved from a certain death at sea.
45km . from the « Matins Bleus » Honfleur inspired many painters (Boudin -see the museum !-, Monet and Corot, writers as Charles Baudelaire, Alfred de Musset, and composers as Erik Satie.
You will enjoy perusing throuh the numerous art galleris, lunching in one of those restaurants which offer a wide variety of seafood.
A couple of miles from Honfleur, go and see the Pont de Normandie, an impressive work of fine steel, stunning at night.
